Summerland was founded in 2022 by twins Max and Arlo Filazek and their parents Glen and Beverley Filazek. Summerland is a culmination of a mutual passion for music of all forms, and the dedication and support of close friends and family. Summerland was born from the idea that recording music should never be an unreachable goal to musicians and artists of any age or skill level. It is our goal to create an environment that supports creativity and self expression without the stresses or immense costs that can be common in a studio setting. Here at Summerland, we hold great importance in maintaining the warm and welcoming feeling of a small family business, while also providing the quality, equipment, and expertise of a commercial recording studio. Above all else, we aim to provide a recording experience that makes both the artists, and their music feel at home.
